Shishu-Bambini - Philosophy and Research

Philosophy

Philosophy

Philosophy

Shishu Bambini's philosophy weaves together:

1. Reggio Emilia : “hundred languages” approach—honoring each child’s many ways of expression

2. Nobel Laureate Rabindranath Tagore:  Inspired by Tagore's philosophy, we foster whole-child growth and global citizenship through joyful, nature-based music, movement, and art

3. Carl Orff’s belief: learning through movement, rhythm, and play. Through music, dance, and hands-on exploration, children investigate sound, space, and story.

4. Building early STEAM skills: observing patterns, experimenting, collaborating, and problem-solving. This blend nurtures creativity, curiosity, and critical thinking, allowing every child to discover and communicate ideas in multiple, interconnected languages of music and motion.
